The documentation for IntEmpiricalVariable is a bit short:

 * Defines an empirical distribution where all values are integers.
 * Indentical to EmpiricalVariable, but with slightly different
 * interpolation between points.

What does "slightly different" means ? 

What is the Interpolate method expected to do ?
