This needs to be confirmed, but it was reported that .ns3rc behaves unexpectedly when the modules_enabled line is commented out; e.g.:

# modules_enabled = ['core', 'wifi']
modules_enabled = ['core', 'wimax']

waf will take the first line, not the second.
